Terms of Sale

Last updated 20 September 2026

Short version: you buy a licence to one web page that reads your own data on your own computer. It is not a medical device, and nothing about your health is promised.

1. Who you are buying from

The sale is handled by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as Merchant of Record. They are the seller on your invoice, they collect the payment and they handle VAT. Their terms apply to the payment; these terms apply to the product.

Anything about the product itself reaches us at ciao@getsleeplab.com.

2. What you get

For a single payment you receive a personal licence to use SleepLab, delivered as a private link, a licence key and a setup guide. There is nothing to install and no subscription. Once bought, it is yours: there is no renewal, no expiry date on the licence and no limit on how many times you load an export.

You also receive SleepLab as a single file with your order, which runs on your own computer with no internet and does not expire. Access to the hosted page is provided for at least three years from your purchase; the file is what makes that date unimportant.

3. What the licence allows

It does not allow you to resell, republish or redistribute SleepLab itself, to share your private link or licence key publicly, or to run it as a service for other people. If you want to use it with athletes you coach, write to us; that is a different arrangement and a reasonable one.

4. What you need for it to work

SleepLab reads an Apple Health export, so it needs an iPhone and a desktop browser. The home page lists what it needs and what it will not do, in plain terms, before you buy. Please read that section: if you have no iPhone, or almost no history, the product cannot do its job and you should not buy it.

5. Not medical advice

SleepLab finds patterns in data you already recorded. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and nothing it shows you is a medical opinion. If you have slept badly for weeks, or you suspect a sleep disorder, see a doctor. Decisions about your training and your health remain yours.

6. What is and is not promised

We promise that the product does what the home page says it does: it reads your export in your browser, without uploading it, and computes the numbers described there from your own data. Where your data cannot support a number, SleepLab leaves it out rather than inventing it, which means a thinner export produces a shorter report.

We do not promise any outcome for your sleep, your recovery or your performance. Beyond that, the product is provided as it is, without further warranty. Nothing here limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer under Italian and EU law, including the conformity rights in Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content: if the product does not match this description, you are entitled to have it fixed or to get your money back.

7. Price, payment, refunds

Prices are shown in euro and include VAT where it applies. Payment is taken by Lemon Squeezy at checkout, and the product is delivered immediately afterwards. Your right to withdraw and how refunds work are set out on the Refunds page, which forms part of these terms.

8. Your data

Your health export never reaches us. What little data exists, and who holds it, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country and you may bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Before any of that, write to ciao@getsleeplab.com. Most things are a misunderstanding and get fixed the same week.

10. Changes

These terms may change for future purchases; the version that applies to you is the one published on the day you bought. The date at the top says when this version was written.
